UNIKON - Antennas

UNIKON antennas have two different functions: The club antenna is used as a ring marker. The rings are programmed with all data which are necessary for a race flight and the pigeons are registered as competitors.

The loft antenna is a kind of sensor which reads the ring data of the returning pigeons and transmits them to the loft clock where the pigeons will be timed.

The loft antennas identify the returning pigeons. The data which are saved in the microchip ring are read by sensors in a split of a second and are transmitted to theloft clock. Here the time is taken as quick and all the data are saved.

UNIKON loft antennas have sensors overall and work reliable even with soiling or difficult weather conditions (rain, thunderstorm). Of course it is possible to connect several antennas with one loft clock for controlling every loft entry.

club antenna / ring marker - UCS

The club antenna is a special equipment for clubs or promoters. It is used for programming the microchip in the pigeon ring. Information like the number of the pigeon, the fancier´s data, the flight number and a secret code for preventing manipulations can be programmed.

The programming can be done with the UNIKON MEDIUM or the UNIKON PROFESSIONAL. These loft clock identify the club antenna when it is connected and change into the “ring marker mode” automatically.
